Ran into tons of what I thought were schoolies but it was Mack’s slaying all the peanuts that seem to have just appeared......Mind you I was catching the Mack’s in about 3 feet of water on a 28 gram shimano coltsniper jig not 3 feet from the rocks in the HABAH......Livelined one but nada........John

Anyone else on the board for 2020?? Came out of a nearby river this evening. Zero signs of herring thus far....

Nice catch!

How are you so dry? I caught my first of the year yesterday but got absolutely soaked in the process.

Another skunk during a few afternoon hours at a river mouth today. One guy hooked a goose which i had never seen before. May have seen a herring boil or two

My wife "makes excuses" to not fish with me (she only likes it when she hits the bottom, sets the hook and we have the limit in less than 20 minutes so we go in) so I went alone yesterday and today.

Yesterday at DIF the water was 48.1 at the start. I had four keepers by 815 (started at 705am) then a lull and a move, finishing at 1030 (water at 49.2F) with a total of 6.

Went to Portagee Cove today with the water at 49.1 and by 1030 only had two fish there. Water was 49.9 in the cove when I was done....
