Apple Watch on kayak

I just got a new Apple Watch. Wondering if anyone wears one while kayak fishing. How do you keep it from getting beat up?  Anything particular you use it for?

I have the same dilemma and was planning to make the same post lol. My wife purchased a plastic enclosure for me to help protect the phone. It’s fairly thin but it protects the screen and body of the watch. She does searched the web and found a product with good reviews. So far so good

I switched to a watch after trashing 2 phones in the failed surf landing.  It's been under my drysuit sleeve for the most part.  We'll see how it holds up w/o being covered.

Catalyst watch protector from Bestbuy. A little pricey but I've had it for over a year and it's still going strong. Waterproof as well.

Yep, love it.  Have cellular connection.  Stream to Bluetooth speaker and if you go over you get call for help like old “get smart” episodes

I just ordered this case from Amazon for $20.  Has some really good reviews and passed the check on fakespot.  I'll probably use the normal band at work (office job) and slip it in this for the weekend.

I figure the the watch is already waterproof and the glass is way more scratch resistant then that on my Timex. So just getting some bumpers around it and the glass below a bumper will be good enough.

Should help me close some rings!

If I saw this case I might be considered Apple watch back when was choosing what to buy. I went with the difererent watch I'm very happy with only exception - I cannot make calls with it.

I use Apple watch when fishing all the time...the key is to press that "drop icon" in setting...so it does not get confused when wet or rubbing against the clothes..it is water and scratch resistant so I do not have any protective case...it is typically under my sleeve anyway
