Even if we didn't live in a PC world, They couldn't do it right. Most if not all remakes of the old movies stink because the actors are pretty much all gone.Imagine trying to remake On The Waterfront, Gone with the wind. The quality of the actors isn't there anymore.  Same for the classic T.V. shows.:rav:

Sure can. Trigger away. Who were triggered in the original series? Are they still a/the target for a particular generation? Only question is, will they lose interest? Answer: add more sex appeal.

Not even close. You cannot possibly replace Carroll O'Conner. Nor the PC "incorrect" script.

It would be great though- just to see the old Meathead's reaction.

Dealing with the trans horseshat , unisex bathrooms, freestuffers, BLM and the rest of the leftist freakshow would make great TV, of course they will bash , white straight Christian men instead, they deserve it don'tcha know.

All in the Family was written smart enough that Archie Bunker types were happy even though it was written from a liberal point of view. It was smart because they were able to write Archie lines that sounded like something an Archie Bunker type would actually say, and have faith that the overall message would be what they were looking to do.

Nobody in Hollywood is capable of writing that way today. There always has to be a DNC talking point ripped from the headlines, wrapped in a left wing "joke", slathered with social justice. Every flipping line.
