Yea not over night , but daytime you should be fine .. see a lot of families launching there when I worked down the street and fished there sometimes

may need to investigate more sure thing parking w/ trailer spots before committing... any suggestions ?

Its either inwood, broad channel or there's a ramp in Hamilton beach owned by a yacht club. Its in a very small channel that only works at high tide. Those are the only ones.

My buddy was a paramedic over there 10 yrs before moving down south. I ll go by his judgements and warnings on the whole area.

many many thanks for the heads-up.  we’d def do a drive by to check ot out - todal restrictions (?), trailer parking before lugging the boat down there (from astoria)

Moms side of family is from that area. your trailer should be good during the day,but everywhere today make sure everything is locked down. I have had more theft living in Southold town than we ever did in Rockaway. Something to be said for neighbors who would look out for the people they lived with.
