Has to be the most repulsive and stubborn weed. I thought I hated crab grass but this crap is making me lose sleep.

Get some spray and get over it.

Pete, what do you recommend. I have it growing in my beds.

RoundUp. Lots of it. Preferably sprayed into the wind without a respirator.

Im out of the loop any more. Ask at a garden center. They have tons of new chemicals. Do not use round up in your lawn. It may take a few applications but it is controllable.

It's a member of the allium family. And is edible. *ly. It's great in spring tonics, and even better in spring gin and tonics.

And all you ignoramuses using Roundup, I hope your dicks shrivel up like a year-old raisin. :th:

I hate it also. Got to dig deep for those dam bulbs.

Wait until right after it rains, and pull it out. As long as the ground is wet, the whole thing will come right out, like Wayne coming out of the closet.

Yea, i do wait till the ground is wet. That stuff pops up in my hydrangea and other spots on the shady side of my place. Sometimes it takes over strong like last weekend and takes several hours to pull up and get it gone the non chemical way.
