That's better but "close" will not cut it with the man in green. Doing lemgth and girth. it's a winner.

It's nice to have to search for measuring tapes that are big enough to measure stripers.  I made my board 52" even though the tape is only 48" because I have goals!

I bought a stainless steel 48" ruler from Home Depot that lied in the boat. It got walked on constantly and always there when needed. The only problem with it was it wasn't long enough for most of the stripers I caught. Oh what a lie. :D
