Got out this evening and skunked at the first spot. I had brookies swimming around my legs there but wouldnt eat anything. At the 2nd spot I got a beautiful bow as soon as I got there that taped out at 18in and lost I nice largemouth on a spoon that jumped and spit my spoon. Bass must of been 3lbs. Rain chased me away after that. Heading way up the cape in the morning and working my way back.

Caught a mixed bag of trout today (rainbows, a brookie, and a couple browns). Was wondering if this one was a brown or a tiger? Im thinking brown but it had different markings than ones I’ve caught previously.

Fishing metrowest and have had slow pickings.  Got one rainbow on a wooly bugger in three trips.  2 wade, one kayak.   All still water.  Spent 2-3 hours trolling on the kayak and not a bite last night.   After packing up around dark, drove by area I fished on way home and saw fish swirl.  Temped to stop, but wasn't motived to re-launch.

Fished 8 different ponds today down the cape and only ended up with 1 brookie for 9 hours of fishing :(

I know the feeling. Happened more than once to me this year.
