Up north is quickly getting fished out. Too much fishing pressure.

I fished the Cal once for blackfish. I don't even remember who was running it at the time.  We left the dock at like 7:45 and made two moves the entire day. One was at 17. Caught a nice one that day. 

 

Sorry i have no good suggestions because blackfishing sucks.

If the fishing were real good I'd have no problem doing a c&r trip for tog.  

 

In fact, I basically did last year with a one fish limit in September.
