I cant remember seeing a commercial that does not have interracial couples or the gay thing, men or women portrayed in them.    is it against the law now to have only a married white man and his wife and family portrayed in commercials ?

even basic Pocono mountain get aways feature two guys together and two women hugging and they are interracial couples.

That should be mandated for every commercial. Then no one can be offended.

Can't say I've ever noticed. Examples?

Don't need examples.  You aren't paying attention AT ALL.  Like ZERO attention.

Maybe go watch TV for 20 minutes and then chime in.

To commercials? Yeah you're probably right.

I mean if I really, really thought about it, I could probably think of a commercial or two where there might have been an interracial couple. I don't think I've ever seen a gay couple outside of something specifically targeted toward gays. But maybe I never noticed because I don't care. Like really, why does this matter to anyone at all?

How about "the pill" for HIV? Not to discourage unprotected sex, but as a form of "protection" when you do????

How soon before they have trannies doing ads for Viagra or Summer's Eve?

Exactly the one I thought of when I mentioned commercials that were targeted toward gays.

BTW, I'm calling BS on your claim since it says right at the start that the pill is not a substitute for safer sex practices, and one of the dudes literally says "I use condoms, but..." :dismay:

I'll give you that, but in all honesty do you think they are that concerned with safe sex practices if they have a pill that they believe will prevent them from contracting HIV?

(If safe sex practices were so successful we wouldn't have as many teen and unwed woman pregnancies.)

As for the commercial POV, there was a period where the commercial characters were a single mother and a child, sometime an interracial child.

Seems like the ad agencies go through their "flavor of the month" approach with casting commercials, thinking that that's what America NEEDS to have shoved in our faces 24/7/365...
