CrustyMono
On 3/29/2019 at 10:13 AM, Redneck Tourist said: Might have started out that way, but its not random here in Pa and they're not rare. They are labeled "Trophy Golden Rainbows" by the Pa Fish Commission and they crank them out of the hatcheries every year in good numbers. They often have odd behavior and can be tough to catch at times, and they are also known to put up a heck of a fight. They put a few trophies in my lake in NEPA, and one time I caught a golden in 2' of water, swimming around all over the place, this was half a mile from the deeper rockier side of the lake where they are stocked, no trout ever makes it to that side because of all the birds. I followed it around for 2 hours with the bow mount trying to catch it! weirdest catch by far.
