Never heard of a Hake before, well thinking about it (and just now looking it up) guess I had but never imagined it came inshore.

Was that one of Fred's drop net items or in your lagoon?

The Hake, Sea Horse, Pipes, Cracker and Rock Crab are from Fred's dock.

The rest are from my back yard.

We really need a Blenny and a Grouper.

I don't know what this is.  It's about the size of a Grass Shrimp; a bit smaller actually.

At first glance it looks obviously like a Minnow with orange on the tips of it's fins, so maybe it's a spawning thing, but the more you look at it, the less it looks like your normal minnow.

In between innings is when I seem to do my best work.  Worked out well today.

Little Sand Perch (at least that's what I call them), and a baby Cracker.

And just for kicks, a pic of the baby Flounder, who is eating quite nicely I must say.

Certainly not the most action packed video ever, but the baby Flounder is eating, and eating aggressively.  That's always been the hardest part, to get them eating.  Once they start, barring some kind of colossal mishap, they make it through the winter with me just fine.
