Yeah if you're looking for steamers and not on the edge of puking from the stench of the mud, you're in the wrong spot. :upck:

 

But they are delicious. I miss them. :(

I got to correct my previous post were I said we  only clammed during months without an r in them, which is when we clammed because our boat was stored near the shore.I think the old saying, only take shellfish in the months with an r in them,holds true.

Have you been out? Went today for an hour, only took 30 steamers and 30 razors , don’t need a ton for myself

 

buddy that was there had probably 200 steamers, and he’ll eat every last one lol

No, I won't be out clamming until early May most likely. I'm a fair weather clammer :)

Hell, a pot of fresh clams during the summer ain't no problem either.
