I’m a big fan of restoring plugs as well. So far it’s been Gibbs and Habs but I just grabbed  some Masterlure bodies that were only primed and never finished.

Do you try to keep the weight about the same? I want to refinish a couple of beaters (ironically, one of them is a small Masterlure eel) but wonder how much weight the standard sealer/primer/paint/epoxy would add and how it would affect the performance.

Never found it too much a problem , only one way to find out ..

Nice restoration work there fishrman3.  Yeah, I like doing the same to my plugs at end of season.  At least I know what the plugs I do repair/restore do in the water.  Great job.

Looks great man , love bringing plugs back to life , some of the most mojo ridden plugs I got were found on beach and refin and fished
