Hopefully the water temps come up, before the season closes.

If any kind of bite develops in the next few weeks, please shoot me a PM.  I'm dying to fish. :hooked:

Just get in the car and go.  Nothing is going to develop between now and the end of the month, but you might get lucky and convert the bite or two that you get.  Make sure your boat of choice is sailing before you get up at 03:30.

The BMH fishes tog about 3 days in April and then caters to morons with snag hooks for the rest of the month.  Bring your spinner or you can’t get on the boat!

Nothing cures that “I gotta go fishing itch” like a good old fashioned $100 skunking.  That cures the itch for at least 2 weeks, maybe more.

If I was going, I’d be hitting the Morningstar in OCMD.  No charter boat hassle... just reserve a spot, pay your $100+ and that’s that.

Certainly not a bad choice to go with Monte. But there are other boats and I'll wager more than a few are occasionally looking to fill charters. Especially at this time of year.

An 8 pound blackfish is a big fish.

Go with 10/0 beak hooks. Use a different bait. Try globs of clam.

You've been doing this for a long time. High stick on the thump,

not the tap. Rod tip in the sky, crank, crank, crank until it's out

of the piece. Bait needs to be anchored. I never fish with less

than 10 ounces. Try straight leader. I'm telling you things that

you already know. I caught a dog fish.

Don't ever fish next to me. Thats that.

I hope these water temps come up before they close TOG, cause Mick we are going south !!!

Go much farther South than Cape May. From the Lady:

This weekend we picked a few of everything. Saturday we had decent ling fishing but the tog wouldn't chew. Sunday the guys tried alot harder for tog and picked a couple and only a few ling. Some big bergals and even a scallop. Gorgeous weather for February. Felt great being out!
