Atlantic city inlet jig weight?

Think you need more than a 4oz bullethead jig?  Not during heavy flow.  Let's say 2 hours before slack.  Atlantic city side....

I can go easy on the trailer and hair.  Just wondering  if I need another mold.

Doubt you'll find 4 oz works well anywhere in NJ.  I've fished spots where you can get away with 4 on very rare occasions but that's usually because the tide is blown out and its tough to buy a bite in those conditions regardless.

you might be fine with a 4 oz bullet if there's a ton of crap attached to it like hair and a big shad.   But if you put a sluggo on there its going to drop and glue to the bottom.  Doubt you'll get the right answer on the internet and anyone that knows what they're doing down there probably won't tell you, either.  Show up with a bunch of different jigs and figure it out.
