Here are my Penn Spinfishers, I have every one of the first four generations, and every part to build each one if needed. I have them mixed in with my lure collection as well. I also have quite a few custom, PennStaals, and other Penn spinning reels I have done over.in different colors and configurations. I really like the Gasoline colors, I also have many plugs that I have refinished in gas colors as well, ones that were never done in gas.Here are a few pictures.....

I don't know if they're "collectable" and I'm sure they don't have anywhere near the cool factor that many of these other classic reels. 

What they are is my two favorite reels to use while ground / bottom fishing.

Two modified / customized Newells, 533 3.2:1 & 322 4.3:1.

I got a ocean city, schultz, freeport 150 yd,,,, I found a Schulz Mia hardware store in 1922 in freeport,,,,, doesn't make sense,,,,,but if anybody has any info on this reel,,,,,,,,

Lotsa gorgeous reels on here. I wanted to share a few pix of an old rod I found while cleaning out my father in laws house after he passed. Nothing high scale about this, he used it when he went outta Philly to Barneget or pPoint Pleasant, NJ to fish for ground fish. But I appreciate the work that was put into this. The turning on the butt (maple?), the hexagonal rod (bamboo?), the guides (not sure how the 2 mid guides were supposed to be used but the end was just a circle the line went thru. It was labeled Montague, Somers  Point, possibly made in Japan after WWII? I believe it dates from the 50s. Any info you guys can share would be appreciated. The value for me is sentimental. I would never part from this baby, and it will be displayed in my man cave (if I ever finish it).

PS he had a Penn 209 level wind on it with braid. Pristine condition. I will use that baby!

Picked up one orvis a year ago and they multiply like rabbits.  Great old reels.
