Quintessential Beach Destination

This wonderfully located private house is an all-inclusive beach property, perfect for an idyllic beach experience. An easy walk of less than 1/3 mile to Kelly Beach or ¼ mile to Little Beach, this house has a beautiful view of the salt pond to watch the nightly sunsets from either inside the open, spacious 2nd floor great room, dining area, deck, screened porch, or 1 of 2 living rooms. 2 of the 4 bedrooms also share this water view, as does the 3rd floor computer area and sleeping loft. 2 high def wide-screen home theaters with a fabulous sound system, cable, DVR, movies and exercise videos, high speed internet throughout the house with 2 computers provided, new granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen with double ovens, ice maker, and pots and pans (including ice cream maker, choc fondue pot) for gourmet cooks, large gas grill…nothing is missing from this house. Even a Las Vegas game table and bar are present! The central and window ac units in all bedrooms and common rooms are fine, although seldom necessary since the house has wonderful ventilation. Lots of game areas and game tables and the house is well-stocked with every imaginable amenity. Shampoos and soaps are provided as well as kitchen staples and fresh herbs growing on the large deck that comfortably seats 10. All sheets, towels, beach chairs, beach towels are premium, high end and graciously furnished and there is a lengthy guide about things to do and restaurants, and sites in the area, rain or shine. The house sits on a double lot with lots of room to play lawn games. Inside, the beds are comfy, the house is meticulously clean (owner does not rent to students), and the house décor is conducive to a relaxing beach vacation.

Great location

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week in this welcoming beach house. It was so well stocked with bed linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, kitchen supplies......all these conveniences making it easy to stroll to the beaches and and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Great location.

Judith was so accommodating and she really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and she was only a call away if needed. The beach was only a short walk away and we were there almost everyday! The home has all we needed, and then some! There is plenty of room for three families and the kids had a great time too! The side yard was great for them to play for the evenings while the parents spent time relaxing on the top deck. We would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

The house was a short walk to the beach. The outside shower and changing area were so easy to use....everyone cleaned up before they came into the house. There was plenty of space for everyone of us!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We had 7 adults and 3 children and fit perfectly. The house is in a great location. It is a very short walk to the beach, has a great view of the salt water pond which includes sunset views over the water at night. The house has everything you need for your stay. It has all the linens and house supplies, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, a cart to take it all to the beach, kids toys for inside and outside, a 4 seasons room downstairs and deck upstairs. It is a 10 minute drive to Narragansett and 30 minute drive to Newport. We loved our stay!

Totally relaxing and comfortable beach house on quiet RI shores

Stayed Aug 2017

Everything you need to chill with family and friends near a low-key, gorgeous beach. Great fully-equipped kitchen, large deck w super grill for sunset views over dinner; lots of light and space. We kayaked on the pond, had perfect swims in the ocean a couple of blocks away, where the water temp was wonderfully refreshing. Lots to see in the area but we were so comfortable we mostly just hung out and relaxed.

FWIW, that area, Bonnet shores, is a very popular place for the kids from URI to rent houses during the school year. Usually lots of parties going on there on the weekends.
