WTB Peacock bass lures

Heading to Florida in March. Looking for lures to target peacock bass.

Bakers, x raps, ect.

get bandit 100,200 and 300 series,they cast good not overpriced they catch any fish,posible you may take with you stronger hooks.

I'd think that not only poppers but glide baits should be considered as well.  LD's WideGlide should fit that bill in the small size for small peacocks.  If you were down in South America with trophy PC's then go for the largest size.   

Mr. Whiggley is another option.  Good luck and let's see the catch.

do u need specific lure to target peacock? Over at my country, they basically eat everything.

 

I tried rubber, topwater, fly, hard body

they eat all of them but ofc in the morning

From wha i have found, In north west Florida they are seem to be less of them and a bit more picky than the east coast fishery. 

That is my observation where I currently fish for them while on vacation. 

I did buy some Miami pea lures and will give them a try next month.

didnt know about that, in that case get some sinking minnow.

 

i always bring DUO spearhead for peacock, it seem to be their favourite.
