Actually found a decent loaf of bread up here at a little italian specialty store.

Good. Nothing like a nice roll or loaf of bread to dunk in the gravy. I could live on gravy and bread.

Colts have to fight.

Anyone do Scallops and bacon on the stick for the grill?  Yay or Nay?

Bit the bullet, cause my old Weber fell apart this week. Got a great deal on a  new one and got delivered today. Sweetness!! Christened tonight by beef.

Can you guess which is mine...

Roadside chicken tonight with a giant salad.

Heres one for you.  Made a homemade blue cheese dressing, but I used a Goat cheese blue-Humbolt Fog.   Very good, mild and rich.

Tomorrow is 8 pounds of Beef Plate Ribs.  Dino Bones.

Nay for me on a charcoal grill. Precooked the bacon some then wrapped the scallops. Cooked over indirect heat on the grill for about 3-4 minutes then turned and 3-4 minutes more. Scallops were very tender and bacon was crisp but they had a bit to much smoke flavor for my liking. Kind of hid the scallop if that makes sense. Could of been just me I guess. I usually just broil the wrapped scallops. Picture is broiled sea scallops.
