Got to feel for that unhappy kicker.  The weight of the world is on his shoulders.  I hope his wife is good to him for a few days before sticking the help-wanted pages under his nose.

Reminds me of a Giants/Bills Super Bowl that went down to the last kick.

No doubt, that's one of them games you'll remember for a long time!

Parky could have very well put the dagger in the very team that game him a second chance and who he broke the rookie record for points.

He will never be remembered for that rookie record now.

Never feel sorry for kickers.

Ever.

They have one ****ing job.

One.

:dismay:

Bears:  "We're going to give you $9 million to kick the ball between those yellow things"

Parkey: "So I hit them?"

Bears: "No no no...between them"

Parkey:  "Wait what?"

Bears: "Between them"

Parkey:  meh...I'll figure it out..  "Deal!"

Slowed-down videos starting to show up on Twitter/Reddit/Etc.    Eagle's special teamer Treyvon Hester got a few fingers on that kick and changed the trajectory.   Doubt it'll help Parkey sleep tonight, but it looks like the narrative isn't that Parkey choked and let the birds advance, but rather an eagle made a play and blocked the kick juuuust enough.

Only a soccer fan (or a woman ) would blame the loss or credit the win of a football game on the foot of a place kicker.

Pick any other position on O or D and you’ll see dozens of other plays throughout any given game that were blown or made which were far more significant to the outcome than one made or missed by a skinny-ass soccer player getting the yips (or not) at the end.

One job.
