Korkers for jetties

I never tried spikes but have felt soles on boot foot waders and found  them still slippery on rocks around Montauk as well as rocks on the west end jetty at Robert Moses State Park.  Perhaps the felt is too dense  because it shows little wear after many miles of trudging beaches and the waders are a budget Cabelas model made in Taiwan in 2008 but have proven to be the best waders I ever owned. In any case felt soles are problematic in many trout streams and rivers due to their implication as vectors of disease organisms.
