Skunkoff
Also, I caught this sunfish earlier in the week. Looking a little weird to me. I called it a bluegill, but not sure. What say you all? Maybe a female or juvie? Edited May 25 by Skunkoff snag777, Flip n Dip and Old Hunter

The yellow on the throat is kinda a give away. Skunkoff and Terry Mac 1

richie c
Hit my spot this AM and one 10'' bass to show for it, yesterday it was 3 smaller lmb and a few bluegills........Been going to this spot for 40 years and this year has been particularly bad, the winter before last and the ensuing drought of last summer put a serious hit on the fish population. In most other years I've usually put at least a 4lber and numerous 3' and 2' in the boat along with some nice crappie. I paddled thru the shallows on purpose this morning just to see if anything was moving in front of me and nothing much at all. Its a converted cranberry bog and pretty shallow tho it does have a few 5-6' deep areas. Flip n Dip

Not an issue if you are fishing a river but when fishing a lake it is almost a guarantee that you will not have a good day. I only caught one small bass today and lost one from a local pond. They just weren’t biting. vce12342000
