Bennie,

Nice ones.  Try "auto flash" setting!

Were you fishing with live crawdads?    Cool.

The battery was at 11%,,,,,,,those millenniums always makes things too difficult and if you ask them for a Phillips then hand you a light bulb,,,,,,,marlo wanted the crawdads but we had 5 dozen hellgarmites,,,,,,,,,,:)

Been way to long.   Some short trips out here and there, but not enough.   Getting back in the groove, but Dorian disrupted everything!

Managed one bass at the 4 hr mark to avoid a skunk post Dorian.   Now time to clean up all the debris.

Deja Vu!   Repeat trip this morning. Four hour slog where everything that could go wrong did (Murphy on my back) and only managed one 1-9 bass for the effort.   Water is a mess post Dorian.   I think the Bass are still sheltering in place.

Mixed bag after work. Catching a lot of catfish on plugs and metal for the past few months now. This guy liked the look of a spoon swimming by I guess. The freshwater bluefish (Gar, and they are plug thieves too) tooka spoon to the tail. Very small gar here, not uncommon to see them 48 inches or longer. And ol' physco eye decided he wanted some sluggo to snack on. I know, the clip on the hook. Was just to lazy to cut it off and retie. All were released unharmed..

Last night. First of these we have seen in a couple weeks. Fell to a fluke just on a hook with no weight. Measured @ 28 inches. Had the length to hit 10, but this woodsplitter weighed maybe half that. Definitly a holdover.

And tonight, the typical longnose gar. Probably 4ft long. They have been loving topwater this year as you can see the yozuri he's puffin' on.. Main problem catching these guys is that they will grab your leader going for the plug, so you set the hook and whiff, nothing there, including your plug. Fun to catch and look like an icbm when they come out of the water.. Released to keep growing..
