How does stocked troyt die when it gets warm, does it float belly up or drown? Who eats them, birds for the most part?

Mostly lack of oxygen, the warmer the water gets the less oxygen. A trout will die in 70 degree water if stressed from predators, fishing pressure and poor handling if caught.

Most trout guys leave them be when the water approaches 70.

The generally go belly up when dead and turtles, birds will dine on them.

Caught a lot of fish last night with a old friend we just didn't catch a lot of good fish lol. Still had a lot of fun though.

We caught 15 to 20 stripers and hybrids last night. A couple fish were decent the rest were pretty much dinks but they kept the blood flowing none the less

Still not sure if you can call it a good night though since we actually set out to catch bass. I'll just have to keep going back until I get my redemption story.

Cast Prodigy Swimbait 4.1inch in white pearl accounted for the bigger fish the 3in size in blue moon accounted for the majority.

Threw swimbaits for 7 hours today looking for a quality bite - towards dusk tied on a 7” waking bait and this solid bass slurped it up - I’d say he was definitely pinned.

The very next cast this beautiful tiger Muskie crushed the same bait - top water tigers are definitely addictive.

Nice fish!

I’m gonna use that bump board til it’s in totally shot - it’s close to breaking in half.

I don’t enjoy kietechs as much as I do hard baits although kietechs do catch a lot of fish.

My Ketch has been through hell and back.  Just like new.   I have four broken and repaired hawg traws in the garage.
