Glad I went out. The wind died down so wind chill went from 18*F to 32*F. Long johns did the rest.

A mix of half a dozen eating sized walleye and sauger and then this thing.

On a size 14HJ in Helsinki shad of course. Fun, but still disappointing when you are targeting trophy walleye.

Skinny, but was 41in in length. Undoubtedly looking to score a chunky walleye for dinner.

Muskie??

Colors are strange maybe just the lighting?

Yeah, it was a musky, a very skinny musky.

I thought the same thing about the colors, it was like the colors were faded.

I almost thought a stocked rainbow trout - maybe that is what it has been eating LOL

Went to goof off and test out an S Waver that I modified to glide in a wider pattern and and added some lead strips to the hooks to get it to suspend a bit -  picked up an angry pickerel that hit it with a vengeance. Picked up a few on a jerkbait too. 8BDED1B6-729E-47D8-BCB8-C735DDC37336.jpeg.9abf098e8ef23bd266a91c516e2f77b6.jpeg
