Fishing past couple times out.

I was out on Sunday in center of Estero bay and today again but tucked in the back on west side of bay. Both horrible days of fishing. You could count the number of fish caught on both hands. Spoke to other guys out and they have the same experience. Mangrove snapper the fish that will just about be anywhere where there are mangroves, not to be seen today. Catfish were hard to come by.

Water quality is abysmal. If you’ve ever seen glacier water in Alaska you know that color well it’s in the bay, in the mangroves  and all over the place. Visibility is not good, even at a foot it’s cloudy looking.

No baitfish seen, no mullet. The mullet where all over a couple weeks ago. Yes they move out and yes they are a fish and move around, but you’d still see some around. No diving pelicans and that right there is a good sign bait is around if they are on the water.
