Gentlemen, I just removed a post and have edited others - this thread is about a club having a show. It is not about a person, it is not a discussion about what they did or didn't do. Bruce, I'm not making you out to be the bad guy, I'm asking you again to keep your posts on topic - this thread is about a club's show. The poaching issue was addressed and the thread put back on track. That's where it's going to stay, no matter how many times you try to derail it. It's not about the 'poacher-plug builder', it's about a club having a show.

If you guys wanna talk about something other than this club's show, start your own thread - thanks :th:

Any vendor list for this show?

We don't allow vendor lists here - we allow clubs to promote their non-profit shows but we don't allow them to promote the for-profit businesses that will be at their shows.  It's a compromise to allow the clubs to promote their shows without violating our "no commercial use" rules :)

The "poacher-plug builder" is not participating as poaching certainly conflicts with the Surfcaster's code of ethics.

For the record, the word "poacher-plug builder" was taken from a post that I removed...I don't know the guy and don't know the story - but I'm glad to hear poachers are not welcome to benefit from your show :th:

Not even for a second did I think you were stirring the pot :)  My post was as much a message for everyone else as it was for you and it wasn't intended to be a slap or even a tickle ;)

The Narragansett Surfcasters are pleased to announce its 6th Annual Surf Day will be held February 9, 2019 at the Narragansett Community Center.  A wide variety of both new and used tackle will be available at very reasonable prices.  We will also have an impressive collection of antique plugs on display, and great food will be available.  Vendor tables are available for $30 while the supply lasts.  This event has proven to be an extremely popular and well-attended mid-winter event.  Proceeds are used to support the club's annual Kid's Fishing Day in July.

For more information, please view the attached poster.
