Saturday fishing report

Tried a different area that for me gives up the trout and ladyfish. No disappointment today, some nice trout as well as many ladyfish that you’d desire. Caught another small redfish, that’s 3 in three times out. For me that’s some style of record in itself. The best surprise fish today was a bluefish, yes a fish about 5 lbs. Never would have believed it myself until it was in the net. I haven’t seen one this far south in all the time I’ve been here, plus way in back away from the pass.

Water is definitely getting much better looking each time out. Temp is 75*.

Lots of mullet with the dolphin hot on their tail. Good sized schools of sheepshead too.

Fish today were all caught on a 1/8 jig head and white rubber tail.
