Lots of accessible shoreline at this time of year, all the private beaches are closed for the season, but you're not going to find many fish around.

A-check the CT forum, B-good luck getting any intel you cant find with google maps.  With access so hard to find in CT youll be lucky to get good info from guys as most spots are kept quiet

There is a very good productive spot where the bait fish always gather, just aside the drop-off on main beach, sunset or rise and you cant go wrong.

Looking to go fishing while I’m in Darien, Connecticut. Anyone know any good spots?

I would first try the local beaches. Actually, any of the beaches from Greenwich to Stonington can hold fish. If no luck, then you can always try one of the bigger rivers as they will hold fish through the winter.

Look up reading the surf on youtube.  There's plenty of good videos.  IT helped me a ton, wish I knew it years ago.

A good spot can be right infront of you.  You hit the wrong part of the tide, the wrong depth, or cast too far past the sweet spot, it's just a nice afternoon with a stop at the pizza place at the end........

If you deciede to fish an inlet, find a depth chart.

A thermometer helped me out some too this year.
