I asked other anglers to take video using cel phone and I discard so many good videos because videos were not taken properly.

Some take video holding the camera vertically. It limit the screen.  Even worse, some flip the camera from horizontally to vertically while taking video.

Some don't even know how to take pictures while taking video.

You have to show whole rod action while taking video.

I asked my old friend John Lee to take video from casting, working jigs, hooking as well as fighting as it was non stop action for striper on jigs yesterday.  But it turned out to be very brief video.

I definitely need a cameraman. :)

Buy a manfroto 244 with  clamp https://amzn.to/2PUJnrn

it'll grab any rail without damage securely.

Sony has great physical image stabilization in their cam corders

THis was a FDR ax 53 https://amzn.to/2T5oXuC

Be sure you're in frame.

which is a 2 second test.   use cell phone / go pro to suppliment

This was my first attempt at doing it that way.  And after a loooooooooong run being tired and not really caring or being prepared it turned out pretty good.

I tried Go Pro, but all failed. :)

I dropped Go Pro camera into the water. I thought I pushed record button and I didn't.  After recording, I found the picture was blur because camera lenz was not clean.  Too much headache for me. :)

Here is a nice video, but angler flip the phone from horizontal to vertical.

Youtube needs a minute to process full resolution...but fixed it for ya :)

And it may not be as crisp since it's rotated and expanded to fit.

Premiere pro is pretty good though so it may not be half bad

Wow. How could you do it ?  I need to learn from you. :)

I rotated it in adobe premiere pro then uploaded it.

There may be a way to edit the video in your phone prior to uploading as well.
