IslandSurf Posted November 11, 2018 Report Share Posted November 11, 2018 Hey guys,so I have the Lawrence hook 7 and im just curious to see if anyone can help me figure out this issue ive been having.Even when i put the settings on fast trolling as soon as i move the boat the screen goes crazy and takes forever to reset itself...Can anyone help me here? Good2Go Posted November 11, 2018 Report Share Posted November 11, 2018 I had a Garmin so no specific model wise advice, but often the prop wash based on where the transducer was placed would blank the screen out once I reached a certain speed. Had to slow down before the screen refreshed and gave me a true reading. Also would suggest you check your connections. I was having the darn thing blank out completely at times, after I checked the connections saw they were corroded. Once I cleaned that up it worked well.
