Is what I say to folks I don't really care for upon parting.

Adios My Friend.

They usually get my drift.

Do you blame the Governor?

Or blame the system that makes it beneficial to make the move?

Outgoing Governor of Maine moving to Florida for tax reasons

Gov. Paul LePage, (R-ME.), on his decision to move to Florida after his term ends because of the taxes in Maine.

Maine’s outgoing Gov. Paul LePage is moving to Florida — and it’s not just for the weather. He said he’s being “forced out.”

“For the 60 years I’ve been working in Maine and lived in Maine, I have been trying to reduce the taxes,” LePage said to FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on Thursday.  “Right now we have an enormous surplus – we do not need an income tax. But the incoming Democrats believe that they want to raise it… We’ve managed to get the military tax off pensions but they are unwilling to address the retirees.”

“I still have to pay taxes in Maine for this year,” he said. “And I’m going to join a former governor who brought the income tax to Maine, who retired to Florida — I’m going to retire with him.”

Voting with your feet is the most powerful vote you can make. I'm planning my ultimate vote. NY is in a death spiral. Everything costs too much and they want more more more. They can try to collect when I'm gone.

Maine is forever lost to the socialists, free-stuffers and MMGCC psychopaths, have no illusions about it.

LePage has his warts but speaking as a former lifelong serf-subject of MA for 48 years who relocated here just before his second gubernatorial term began I can say without reservation he is the finest man I’ve ever cast state level vote for.

LePage was good for Maine.  he did fight for the taxpayer.  The state was in a fiscal mess before he was governor and it's pretty much a bipartisan agreement that LePage is credited with fixing it.

Now you have Boston north making decisions for the rest of the state and it's not going to get better.
