Well finally had air dam removed off my Colorado Looks great and no more plowijng sand at IBSP. Cost me $50 I'm to old to be laying under my truck!

I just did my front hitch Sunday, and I found that the air dam -- the whole thing, the entire plastic deal below the bumper -- was surprisingly easy to take off. And surprisingly easy to get back on (the rest of it was a pain in the ass :D). $50 is a good price: it probably took them about 2 minutes, but you saved yourself at least fifty clams' worth of aggravation, if you don't know how to do it.

I put the thing back on after I'd installed the hitch, because it supposedly improves gas mileage. But I've not driven this thing on the beach yet (it's a new-to-me vehicle), and if clearance is a problem, I'll just remove the damn thing, because other than aesthetics and perhaps fuel efficiency, it doesn't do anything.
