The US Government is now in the process of forfeiture of a property of a convicted felon. This felon use to be the campaign manager of the US President. The property was sold to the felon by the company owned by the US President.

When was the purchase made?

Purchase through a broker or was this in the back alley?

Was the seller a licensed business?

Don’t know

Manaforts Trump Tower apartment was purchased in 2006 via a shell company and then he transferred it to himself in 2015

“shady place for shady people”

now UBS the bank is crying foul because then Manafort used the apartment as collateral for a loan

little wonder this Mueller investigation is taking so long

Once again. Prove Trump KNEW what Manafort was going to do. The shell game has been a business practice forever....done every day. Furthermore, once the sale was made any following shenanigans were not of the seller's concern OR liability.

That would be like suing a gun manufacturer for wrongful death because some idiot used their brand of weapon to kill somebody... Oh wait....they're already trying that....bad example. Stupid but they're trying it.

Ok. Suing a car manufacturer for a wrongful death because some idiot drove their brand of car while drunk and killed somebody in a collision.

Tell me. How is the car manufacturer liable?

Same scenario.

Plain common sense.:howdy:

I am sure Maxine and Nancy will look into these matters deeply and thoroughly.

How would you like your future successes to rest on those four shoulders, like the democrats are putting themselves in a position to do?

If It was me, I would step back, and reevaluate.

All real estate investments are owned by "shell" companies. I know - I'm in the business. Nearly all of them are LLCs - partnerships. But the ownership structures are often crazy because of the way real estate works. Often the owners are LLCs owning LLCs owning LLCs because of the way some partners and partnerships of partners have more or different responsibilities than others. You need a flow chart to understand them. But there's nothing illegal or strange or out of the ordinary about them.

The enemy of the people use that term "shell company" as a loaded word to scare and rile up their low information viewers. Nothing scary about it.

uh

like stealing money from people (bad) and then giving it out to make it look like they're helping people (good)?

isn't that what government does?

 Food for thought.

Is it possible that the actual seller was a Trump employee or a representative? Now taking that into consideration....is it possible that this person that made the sale to Manafort may have been unaware of what Manafort was doing so he never informed Trump of what was going on regarding said deals?  The rep may have been duped....happens every day.

Benefit of the doubt. Given the fact that Trump has many pots in the fire, it's not a stretch of the imagination that he delegates operations such as sales and procurement to qualified representatives. It is also not a stretch of the imagination that there was a lapse in the oversight of Manafort's activities regarding this deal. It happens. Every day. It's even possible said representative KNEW what Manafort was up to, and for whatever reason (greed/ kickbacks), kept that detail from Trump. Those things happen. Every day.

Benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty. Even for DJT.
