the Senate is in charge of voting on Supreme Court nominees.

not the House.

 

question for discussion................ how much money is RBG getting paid to not retire?

Sadly, she’s gonna have to die to be replaced. She made that bed when she didn’t retire in 2015. She was so sure of a Clinton victory her ego clouded her judgement.

Nah more like one year cause if she leaves in a year Senate will invoke the new GOP rule that nobody be considered until after election right?

RBG is a true believer.  She knows the stakes and needs no other motivation.  She'll die on the bench if there's a Republican Senate and Oval Office.

 

I expect Thomas to retire before the next election, RBG will stay until after.
