jkrock Posted November 6, 2018 Report Share Posted November 6, 2018 (edited) I'll admit, I've never voted early, by mail, or absentee. I've never looked at the ballot for that type of voting. So now to the dumb question, Is your vote not confidential in that method of voting? . if it is, how do the poll workers record you as having voted? I walk into my polling place, check in, fill out a ballot, check out, slide it into a scanner. how do they know if I've voted already by mail or not? Do they check you off as having voted by virtue of giving you ones of those early ballots even if you never return it?
