I need to enhance/beef up/ dress up some fascia

Standard 1x6 fascia on expose 2x4 rafter tails.


Actually, I believe the rafter tails are actually lookouts and not true rafter tails.


Client wants to beef them up/dress them up/ enhance them so that they are more prominent, perhaps with some 2x6 instead of 1x6. 


What kind of ideas do you guys have for something like this?


All of the gutters are coming down soon, replaced with seamless. 


Lots of termite damage on the lookouts, probably certain to find more.


It would be nice to bulk those lookouts up as well, just looking for ideas on how to dress them up so that they look more substantial. 


It also looks like the drip edge/roof overhang has a bit of leeway, I could probably remove the existing fascia and replace it with 2x6 "pretty easily". Just cursed myself with that line, didn't I?
