John skinner told me to load plugs with maple syrup in his latest video. Now every food store ive been to is sold out... Will Jam work or will that scare the fish?

Did he say it was maple syrup?
I'm pretty sure in the video he says Pancake syrup. Which could be the corn syrup stuff.

Interesting concept!

Interesting. Lure now sits totally different while being fished. Very much like a ballistic being retrieved as you would a pencil.

Yea he said pancake syrup, the corn syrup stuff is definetly more dense than regular maple.

All jokes aside the point he is trying to make is that the higher density makes you need 40% less to add the same amount of weight. As far as viscosity goes I’m not sure if it helps or hurts casting distance and action. Either way water works just fine, why complicate things.
