I arrived at Korea to attend the 30 anniversary party of NS Black Hole Company.

I went to NS Company directly to check new prototype Black Hole USA surf rods.

I am happy to see them very light and thin.

I can't wait to test the rods for the action and strength.

The rods will be available in mid 2019 after extensive tests.

I brought  frozen bluefin in a cooler and they are excited to eat toro tomorrow ;;party. :)

Here is a picture with President Kim of NS Black Hole Company and president Ahn of NS Company in China and president of guide maker for dinner.together.

I will post pictures tomorrow.

I like what I saw.

The rods are probably the thinnest surf rods.

The 10'6" rated 3/4 oz - 4 oz weighs 9.8 oz, the rod rated 2 oz - 6 oz weighs 10.8 oz and the rod rated 3 oz - 10 oz weighs 11.5 oz. ( I will weigh again tomorrow).

You'll have to make sure the reel seats are big enough to take the reels which are used by surf fishermen - often bigger reels.

Are these blank weights or rod weights?

are they 50/50 or like your cape cod?

Butt over tip?

I'm curious in general.  How has your butt over tip joint faired in terms of reliability?    Not doubting just curious.

Ksong what is the status of the 8 foot Suzuki?

Seconded, looking to have a 3/8 (or 1/2 more likely) to 3oz 8' rod for next year and waiting to see what this will be. Any details that can be revealed yet?
