After testing the 8' Black Hole Suzuki rods for various species, I can say the rods are ready  for other anglers.  You can catch fluke, albie, blue, striper, snook, decent sized drum or even blackfish from the shore or on the boat.

The rods will be here by the end of Feb 2019 for the March shows.

Kil - what is your favorite rod of all the Black Hole for throwing the 1 1/9 oz 15F size SP minnow?

9'2" and 9'6" Black Hole Cape Cod Striper rods are great for SP minnow.

But I like 10' Black Hole Suzuki rod as the rod is so light and sensitive.

I am going to fish striper on jigs using 8' Black Hole Suzuki rod off Captree on a private boat tomorrow.

Good bye  my 8' prototype Black Hole Suzuki Light rod.

Inexperienced angler tried to run the boat and my rod got broken as the boat hit the bridge after fishing today.

I had extensive test with the rod, but I can not display the rod at Jan and Feb Show as the rods are coming in March 2019.

I hope they can make sample of the rod in time for the Jan and Feb show.

Ksong,

sorry for your loss

Did you find the IRT 300 to heavy for the 8' suzuki? I was thinking a VR50 might pair well. What are your thoughts?

IRT300 reel is OK for the 8' Suzuki Light rod as I need to test the rod on heavy drag.

Smaller reel should be great for the 8' Suzuki Light rod. IRT is developing smaller reels and I can't wait to test them.

Thanks scoobydoo for rotating picture. :)

I am pleased with the performance and strength of the 8' Suzuki Light rod.

I sent an email to send sample rods for the show in Jan and Feb  2019.

I hope they arrive here in time for the shows.
