7 Rivers, thank you. Those two plugs, along with two others to honor the Air Force and Marines are a series that are part of 4 of 4 collection with a display presentation that includes an engraved plaque with a verse I drafted entitled, " A Soldiers Prayer."

The base of the plugs has the red and white stripes of a traditional flag underneath. The Army plug has black and magenta-like layers blended over it's surface in gradient fashion, toward the plug center. The Humvee is an attempt to mimic a holographic image and is painted with blended shadings of brilliant gold and black. 7, my way of doing things for these specialty plugs and my plug building process in general, is not traditional. It is based on other things I have done professionally and as hobbies throughout my life. So for the most part, the color pallets are hard to explain at times both because they are a bit outside of the norm, and also because I usually forget how I even did them.(laughing).

Unbelievable Russ, I was in the Army, two combat tours, work as a civilian for the Navy now, those are just unreal display pieces, I am at lost for words, being a collector who displays everything, very nice work...

@Odin absolutely beautiful work. I've been fishing breezy more and more (we're in Roxbury), would have loved to run into you in one of the parking lots and see these in person. Best of luck with everything, sir!

7 there is nothing that means more than when I do a piece for guys like you that serve. a sincere and heartfelt "thank you" for your service. I was raised by a retired Army Airborne Sgt, and worked alongside my brother in law for many years who was a bronze star recipient for the AirCav. This stuff really means a great deal to me and the proudest moments I have had as a builder were military themed builds on behalf of Vets. The best, most fulfilling moments being those auctioned for Vet based charity. I will never forget that experience and how people joined in. Never!. Thank you again.
