This year I'm doing very well with Zoom Flukes 5", and with box store imitations of the same. I often do well with Storm Wildeye swim shads, too. I carry a variety of sizes w/me, always. I know the hooks are not beefy, but I tend to get good hooksets w/them, and the thin gauge hook has never been a problem for me.

Its funny,  down here (Chesapeake), BKD are king for large and z-man for back bay. I prefer savage and sluggos
