I don’t yak but all of my FA kits have a roll or two of tape which has a hundred uses in injury situations. Dust/Gorilla tape, 3M medical tape, electrician tape, silicone self-adhering tape, any will work, though the last one has no natural adhesion.

Second would be dry 4”x4” gauze pads, again, lots of uses, especially in conjunction with tape.

But the cell cell phone suggestion is likely #1, can’t get help if you can’t call for help.

ETA: I usually don’t carry "rolls" or tape with me. I wrap several feet around old hotel room keys or other credit card sized cards. That makes for a compact "roll" which can be stored in a good ziplock bag. I have duct tape like that in every car, outside bag, etc. I give them to my kids for their cars, dorm rooms, etc.

On a boat or yak, using the card method, you can carry multiple tape types in a very small package.

I would carry a CPR pocket

mask and wraps and here it s why.

The pocket mask is so you can provide CPR and be able to go home with your own lip and not carry anyone’s disease with you home. Most common is drowning and possibly some one having a heart attack. The wraps can be use as band aid and a splint in case of cuts or falling off cut and breaking  something.
