Be allowed to celebrate Labor Day?

They don't have time to celebrate.  They are the only ones working to keep the country moving in the right direction.

This is in response to the FnA threads that periodically ask, "Should liberals celebrate 4th of July, Memorial Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc."

Turnabout is fair play.

Labor, Jobs, prosperity? I thought it already WAS a Republican holliday. isn't there some sort of deadbeat day that the Dems can celebrate?

Its It Deadbeat Parents Day Today?

It's Deadbeat Parents day on the 12th of June.

Deadbeat Parents Day' is by our calculation on: June the 12th. The first time we detected Deadbeat Parents Day was the 12th of June 2015 and the most recent detection of references to Deadbeat Parents Day was 3 years, 2 months ago.

How many of you are Union workers?  Do you see this as your special holiday?

I've never belonged to a Union.  Although most of my Republican friends seem to.

You'll have to talk to FnA about that.  That's his gig.

Who is “celebrating”?

eff the pinkos.  I’m going fishing.  It’s just a day off.(sort of, ibut I have to be available) .  I’m not thanking anyone.  I’m not observing anything.  No parade, no fireworks.

So you are not answering the question? Your OP seems to suggest that a certain subgroups of Americans should not be able to celebrate a national holiday if they don’t support the underlying reason for the holiday.

How can atheists be said to support two holidays based on the life of a deity?

Why do I have to ask someone else? This is your concept and assertion and you are ducking an equivalence question.

Different angle, should racists ormKlan members be prohibited from celebrating MLK Day?
