Man this is not a report, just a September fishing incident.

I tossed my lipless yozuri and cracked a chunk of plastic out of it. 3DBs apparently don't like hitting retaining walls.

ouch!   One reason I use cheap lures.

update.  That Striper last Monday was 37 inches, not 27.   Skinny, but a hell of a fight.   Off the water for at least a week.   Then all Salt for a  while.

lost what would have been a PB pike. 2' from landing and made a turn and cut the leader. 10lb class.  landed one shortly after that was 32" released safely but felt like a baby compared to the lost one.  couple decent larrys and a few smallmouth to round it out.  fall bite is happening regardless what thermometer says. all topwater spook or plopper.

I know it might be October, but come Wednesday I might get some hurricane fishing in.

Last night my wife is looking something up on my phone and starts fussing at me about my browsing habits, going off that a porn site is in my most viewed. I look at her dumbfounded and ask what she is talking about. " Strippers Online!" "Baby strippers has two p's. That's a fishing website"

Honestly I'm not sure which would be worse her thinking it's a porn site or her stumbling across a thread discussing how I strategically store my fishing equipment.

Sneaking this salt water catch in because it was awesome on light tackle.   Was hunting Speckled trout and got a sleigh ride with a 27 inch striper.  A PB and will be tasty...

Warm weather is messing with the muskie feedbag. Fish aren't where they should be and not chowing as much as they should be.  That said I've picked a few over the last 2-3 weeks after my Aug 1st  neck surgery.

10/11   6;30 am  been a while going after the green bass , it was so hot / humid this am it was just a matter of time before the rain would come , made the local stop just as light was enough to walk , ended up w/ 16 LM  most on topwater spook & pop r but the best was 5.2oz on a spinnerbait right along the inner weed edge , this is unusual this time of year as the water is really high with all the rain since April . Great part about it that fishing will continue longer into the winter .
