Osv open. We took a ride, the surf looked a little knarly for fishing, but there was a guy trying. He was one of those wade out into the water, cast 20’ and walk out guys. Anyways, might try tomorrow. Gona need lead.

Quick question....how the beach at Dewey, etc.

Stirred up or fishable ?

Do I have to use my heavers and 8/10/12 that I would rather not or is it reasonable ?

How much damage did you see?  Are some of the "skinny" sections even worse?

Cruised the osv Sunday, overall didnt take much damage. Flattened out a bit. The narrow sections could be an issue during higher than normal tides. Gotta admit, almost forgot what it felt like to ride on smooth sand. No more wash board I'm sure that'll change tho

It was pretty higher than normal storm surge due to Florence, but there was a section down south a ways that had a wave come up to the dune. We decided not to push it. It’s probably fine now that the storm surge has abated. Like Dave Sharkman said, the sand was smooth, it was pretty awesome!
