Kiptopeake Ships and CBBT 9/3-9/5

37 posts in this topic

Hey guys, I am most likely going to hit the Kiptopeake concrete ships and CBBT this coming week from Monday thru Wednesday depending on weather. So far wind looks very favorable in the morning.  Planning on setting up a tent in the Kiptopeake park, walking distance to the bay and ships.  Mainly looking to target Drum, Sheeps and Fluke.

Took the trip last year similar time frame looking for Drum and Cobia.

Fish finder shorted out last year but I did manage to land a Triple tail from the yak.

If anyone is interested in coming or sharing any tips for the area, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Thanks,

Terry

Thank ya Al!

I decided to take some time off from work so in the mean time I plan on fishing as much as possible, and can guarantee availability for the upcoming Block Island trip.

I have some pics from last years trip that Ill include to this post!

wow! that state park allows for camping?

only if back to school came sooner... that place looks amazing!

Its a pretty neat park.  They have cabins as well as hook up sites for RV's.  Only downside is you have to pay the $15 toll whenever you want to fish the side of the bridge I prefer.
