The marvels of the ocean

While out fishing the bay yesterday we cam across small Bonito among the mackerel we were fishing on . They were swimming among them in search of the small bait they were feeding on. Later in the day we could see some fling out of the water as they were being chases buy some un seen quarry . As we were fishing among the fleet a huge school of mackerel were on the surface feeding, when we noticed a few black dorsal fins moving in a very graceful manner in pursuit of the mackerel , then we saw more all in a row as they churned up the water in Hot pro suit. We estimated some 100 Dolphins  were  working the bait as they headed back to the beach and down towards Sandy Neck . A true marvel of the sea and to also see a huge Leather back Turtle swimming and diving all in the same day makes for an appreciation of what we can see when we are out on the ocean fishing.

My friend I fished with has a metal boat and we went where we have had some luck all day. We had to search the water, but we were staying in 40 to 50 feet of water. On occasion drifting into a little shallower grounds.
