sooooo

one of my customers,  a really nice eyetalion fellow has a restaurant downtown,  the morans in the kitchen never change the a/c filter, it is at eye level on the back of the air handler, they wait for it to freeze up into a giant block of ice then tell alfie, who in turn calls me, I have thawed it out before and found filters frozen to the evap ,where they have gotten so dirty the fan sucked them in,

now there compressor is locked up, imagine that!

the store has one in stock, but I told them I had to order it,yesterday,  because I want them to suffer for making me change a comp. on the roof because they're idiots , it will be here tomorrow  :)

am I wrong,  or do they deserve to swelter in a 120 degree kitchen because they're stoopid?

Maybe. Did you charge extra for the overnight shipping?

not yet, but an excellent point!

the comp its self is under warranty, the labor and parts aren't,

I just replaced it a couple years ago, guess what happened to the last unit...

The average restaurant has enough equipment that something usually needs repairs.

Don’t need more work on a 95 deg day due to stupidity.

Tell them you have to get it "expedited" for an additional charge.  If they say no, you've made them wait and you'll be happy.  If they say yes, you just made yourself more money, once again, you're happy.
