I can't believe we actually fished off Nauset in kayaks in the early 2000's during July. I remember one day we were out there and the seals were all over and around the kayaks. No problems. Next day?  All the seals were in the small group of rocks at the mouth  and wouldn't come out. Jon Shein (RIP) said he saw a big shark right were we were at.

I know you saw one at Stage. But have you had a close encounter in your yak?

If you had footage catching a white shark in a yak you could start a YouTube business. Just sayin no more poopy pipes.

It was low tide when I got there,so I really can’t say. I think it happened around 1-2 pm which would have been near high tide. Looked like it was pretty flat unlink most of the beaches up here.
